Casey Pfeifer is a New York City-based multi-disciplinary artist with experience as an actor, writer, filmmaker, director, and producer. Her first feature film "Half-Quaked," co-created with and starring alongside Rochelle Muzquiz, won Best Comedy in the Oregon Independent Film Festival, in addition to being nominated for Best Picture.
She is currently starring in the film “Checking In” written and directed by Tyler Martin. “Checking In” is an intimate, offbeat short about two queer women connecting through love and loss (coming 2026).
Primarily an actor, Casey has performed in numerous independent films and theatre projects, collaborating on award-winning pieces with admired artists. She is drawn to themes of mental health, queer identity, and nuance — favoring intentional, comedic projects that encourage social justice.
When not creating art, Casey is typically hiking somewhere dramatic, re-watching episodes of Broad City, or laughing at her own jokes. You should probably check on her.
